Bankai: your voice as a superpower inside Copera

Bankai is Copera’s voice interface. Hold a key, speak naturally, the AI does the rest.

What you can do with your voice

  • Dictate a message in a channel or DM — you speak, it becomes formatted text.
  • Search — “find the last doc from project Alpha” — Bankai opens it.
  • Create tasks — “add task on the Marketing board: review April campaign”
  • Ask — “summarize the last meeting of project X”
  • Chat — walkie-talkie mode with AI, spoken responses (TTS)
  • Run commands — open features, change status, all by voice

Modes (5+1)

  • Dictation — voice becomes plain text. No AI processing.
  • Ask — you ask a question, get a response with search + web + workspace context.
  • Command — you speak an action, AI executes.
  • Chat — voice conversation with AI, spoken responses.
  • Omni — all of it combined. The default mode once you know what you want.

Activation

  1. Personal Settings → Bankai.
  2. Grant microphone permission in your browser (or desktop app).
  3. Pick the activation key (default: Ctrl+Space, configurable).
  4. Run the interactive onboarding — 5 minutes. You learn the modes.

Credit consumption

Bankai uses AI credit for actions that generate text (transcription, response, search). Pure short-text dictation uses very little. Deep Research uses significantly more.
