What happens when my AI credits run out?

Credits ran out — what now?

Nothing you’ve done is lost. AI just pauses.

What keeps working:

  • Chat, text channels, messages — normal
  • Meetings, Virtual Office — normal (no AI transcription, but the meeting itself works)
  • Boards, tasks, views — normal
  • Documents, Drive — normal
  • DocSign — normal

What pauses:

  • AI summaries
  • Deep Research / Ask Copera AI
  • Bankai Voice (actions that generate text)
  • AI inside boards (auto-fill)
  • Agents / AI automations

What to do:

  1. Admin sees a banner: “AI paused. Add credit.”
  2. Add credit: any admin can go to Settings → Billing and add whatever amount (there’s a minimum).
  3. Turn on auto-reload: if you never want AI to pause, enable auto-reload (set a minimum balance and top-up amount).
  4. Wait: every month 1, your $5 free credit comes back.

Can I monitor usage?

Yes. The billing panel shows daily spend, usage by feature, and estimated days until zero at the current rate. Good signal for whether it’s time to upgrade to Pro.
